Uh Oh, I was tagged.

May 27, 2008
Thanks Jessica :P

I'm just doing some copying and pasting here (I love CTRL C and CTRL V).

So here are the rules as to what I had to do and if you are one of my lucky 7 below then you need to also do the following:

1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.

2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.

3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog .

My 7 random facts:

1. I just HATE laundry (all of it) and am considering letting everyone be stinky and dirty.

2. I'm the oldest of 4 sisters, one of whom isn't talking to me, even though I try.

3. I love tomato mozzarella salad, it's the reason I planted basil last weekend.

4. I watch too much TV and like Bravo reality shows way too much.

5. My first dog's name was Prim, and she was the best dog ever.

6. I still wish my husband and I would have agreed on one of my top choices for a name for Kate. (I can live with Kate, but I don't LOVE it).

7. I studied to be an art teacher, but really don't want to be one.

I hope there are some people that I can tag (I tried making sure you haven't already been tagged, if so, sorry!):

1. Debra
2. Katie
3. Karla (I know writer's block, might this help?)
4. Margaret
5. Angela
6. Michele
7. Liz

I love this girl.

Photos
This is my favorite of over 100 photos I shot while she was blowing bubbles. That might be a separate post, but I really wanted to share this one!

(click on it to enlarge it to its original size).

As a kid I had a record with this sappy song "Hey, did you happen to see the most beautiful girl in the world." She makes me think of that song quite often.

I don't remember things word for word, but it was so cute, so here it is, my effort to share the cuteness that is Kate.

Monday we were watching Alex (her oldest brother) playing baseball for a bit? I tried to get her into being a fan? She did pretty well cheering him on with us? Alex played well catching and for his first two at bats (the ones we saw) he hit the first pitch thrown at him and he ended up scoring for both runs. Suddenly Kate gets up from where we sit and walks up to him and tells him: "You're playing good baseball Ally, I'm so proud of you."

Monday morning, after bath, she's sitting in the sink putting lotion on while I'm messing with her hair. She is rubbing the lotion on her tummy. She then tells me: "Don't mess with my body, it's such a nice body." (Something like that, it was cute when she said it). I'm glad she loves her body, I'm hoping it'll last a lifetime!

Today we had errands to run, boring, mundane errands. At the local currency exchange, with Kate sitting on the counter, she and I bantered a little about a clip left there by a previous customer. A man came in, a very skinny man, with long white hair. Kate asked him if the clip was his: "Man, is this clip yours?"

He told us how pretty she was and asked her name. She didn't reply with her name but told him more about the clip. I told her she could tell him her name was Kate, and he said "You're a little fawn". After more chatting and me telling him that she wasn't just pretty and cute, but also quite sweet, he explained to us that he was an elder of the Cherokee Nation. The spirits had told him that Kate's Indian name was "Little Fawn".

I thought that was so neat and sweet, and thanked him kindly. My Katiecakes has an additional name "Little Fawn". It suits her well!
