Squigleys

Sometimes I get bored. This is just a silly tracing on the Intuos tablet. Too embarrassed to show much of the real experimenting.

Fake Sleeper Girl

Jan 29, 2008

She fakes sleeping, in play or real life at times too. It looks tiring to me. She squeezes her eyes shut sooooo tightly. Yesterday she did it when she started nursing before bed. It was adorable. On the picture above she's sleeping with her horses and other toys in the living room. It was a lovely mess with pillows on the floor, blankets strewn about and toys and animals on the floor. Peanut, our beagle decided to lay down with the whole menagerie as well.
I wish I'd get her to look at the camera like this more often.

For the record, I used the Photoshop healing brush to remove some messy stuff around her mouth. That happens a lot. It is her love for chocolate milk. If I were more on top of things, her mouth would get wiped more often. Oh well, we can't all be supermom.

This is the unfixed pretty girl.

I love you daddy...

Jan 07, 2008
She's watching Santa Dance on daddy's laptop. Her eyes are watery, she was a bit under the weather with a cold.

I love this picture. I love how she's cuddling with daddy, who likes to spoil her with such things as animated dancing santa's on the laptop and lots of Oswald, Dora and Diego on tv.

I love how she'll say "I love you Daddy" when she goes to bed at night. This evening she had kissed her brothers nite nite, and we were upstairs, ready for our bedtime ritual. But she insisted on going downstairs, where daddy was working for "Daddy sisses". Not sure why she can't say "kisses", she can say the "k" sound fine at the beginning of words.

I love you Katie :-)
